John L. McNett, 91, of Lambertville, MI, passed away peacefully in his home on April 15th surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Mary (Hargrove) McNett, parents, John and May McNett, and two sisters, Ida Jean Cox and Olive Mae Collins. He was a WWII Navy veteran and enjoyed a long career of truck driving. Left to cherish memories of John are his eight children, Jan (Joe) Borowicz, Barb (Bob) Wielfaert, MarySue (Michael Bogdan) McNett, Patricia (Mike Floro) McNett, Judy (Ron) Wasnich, John (Denise Hazen) McNett, Jane (Jeff) Arnett, Lorie (Jeff) Johnson, dear friend, Patti Porter, and brother-in-law, Jerry (Joyce) Walker. John is a special grandpa to 25 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Dedication. Love. Devotion. Loyalty. Diligence. Perseverance. Hard Work. These were not just words to John. They made up the very fabric of his character. These were who he was. They are the values that have been woven into the lives of his family, forever extending his legacy for generations to come. The family is grateful for the support and guidance provided to them by Promedica Hospice.
